Find the Right Used Car

Do you know the best way to figure out if a car is best for you? Taking a test drive! But what do you need to check when getting behind the wheel of a car you've never driven before? You have to make sure this car is the best fit for you before you buy it and end up not liking something that you can't change. Here are some things you should be paying attention to when doing your test drive.

Before you even take the car for a drive, how does sitting in the car feel? Everyone is s different size and shape so does this car stand up for what you need? If it doesn't as soon at you sit down, is there the ability to change the height or adjust the steering wheel to make sure it is comfortable to you? Are the gauges and controls easy to read and use? And what about views? How big are the blind spots? Is there a way to compensate for that? Yes, this is even before you've moved an inch in the car. Adjust everything in the car to make sure it fits you, you shouldn't have to adjust to fit the car.

Once you are driving, there are plenty of other things you should check when test driving. Can you hear the engine and if so, how does it sound to you? How are the petals? Are the breaks touchy? You can also check the suspension and the road noise. If you don't like road noise, make sure you have the chance to take the car on the highway. You never know how bad it is until you take it out. Make sure you will enjoy this car right now as well as forever before signing on that dotted line. You won't regret it!
